Welcome to the Kitsap
County
Waterfront Experts Website
Many realtors in our area lay claim to being experts in waterfront
properties. Karen and I can claim that we were born and/or raised on these kinds
of properties and have lived on them most of our lives. We have living, or sales
experience in many Western Washington waterfront areas which border Puget Sound.
O
ur experience encompasses those lands and waters from the
Pacific Ocean to the Cascades. Our main concentration has been on Hood Canal and
those parts of the sound bordering Kitsap, Jefferson and Mason Counties.
Depicted herein are some views from properties we have lived on or sold over the years. Note the photo showing a visit of Orcas in our local waters. We have been fortunate to have experienced the days when there were virtually no restrictions on Salmon fishing and clamming. The now famous Judge Bolt Decision and subsequent restrictions have changed our way of life forever. We now live under conditions wherein there are limitations on when and where you can fish and how many of a given species you can have in your possession.
Although property values always seem out-of-site to natives of an area, as realtors we realize that our area of the world is still considered pristine and inexpensive to those who come from the more populous areas of the country.
Due to the fact we, our children and grandchildren have been
raised here, and in some cases are still attending school here, we have a good
feel for schools, sporting events and the arts in our community. Please view our
two minute Kitsap
movie. Although we enjoy showing and selling waterfront propert
ies, we spend the majority of our time dealing in starter homes,
retirement homes (for scaling-down seniors), condos and homes for people moving
into our areas as a result of employment or military change of duty
stations. Kitsap County is not a major industrial area; however
because of our easy accessibility via the ferry system, we have become a bedroom
community for Seattle. Depending on life style our ferry and bridge systems are
considered either an asset or a liability.
When you visit our Blog site you will find that it is one of few sites that provide a reader with insight into many technical issues relating to the purchase and/or sales process.
